M&M Technical Solutions, LLC was founded in 2022 as a small, disadvantaged, woman-owned business located in Huntsville, AL. The company provides engineering consulting services to the International Space Station (ISS) and the Department of Defense (DOD). M&M Technical Solutions is governed by its core values, which are deeply embedded in the company’s culture and character. Our primary focus is to deliver exceptional customer service and cost-effective solutions to our clients.

MeChelle Townsend serves as the Chief Executive Officer of M&M Technical Solutions. Prior to founding the company, MeChelle was a Senior Manager at Raytheon Technologies, where she was responsible for overseeing design, production/test readiness, and other critical reviews. She had the authority to make risk-informed decisions to ensure mission success within the civilian, defense, and intelligence sectors.

A native of Huntsville, Alabama, MeChelle earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and English from Alabama A&M University. She also holds an MBA in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Baker College. In addition to her professional duties, MeChelle has been a long-time fundraiser for the Homeless Community in Huntsville, AL, and American Solidarity Care which supports Africa by providing healthcare families in need.
